Driving Kenya Foundation (DKF) is the pre-eminent campaign to promote Kenyan companies supporting poverty eradication initiatives.
We seek to harness the collective power of both individuals and Kenya’s top corporations to fight poverty both at the local and national level. The primary objective of the Foundation is public charitable purpose within Kenya and in particular to relieve persons in conditions of need, hardship or distress as a result of local, national or international disaster or by reason of their social and economic circumstances.
With support from organized businesses, individuals, government and other donor organizations, DKF is the way for every individual Kenyan and business, to do something concrete in support of poverty eradication. Together we will build a Kenya with an equal and developed society.
To accelerate the corporate community’s involvement in this important Kenyan human crisis, DKF acts as a central hub for businesses that want to make a difference.
At the heart of the campaign is the DKF logo. Companies supporting the initiative by making regular contributions to the campaign can use the logo to identify themselves, their products and services.
Member companies pick on what activities their resources will go to supporting. Our experts then assist them in the design and development of appropriate channels to achieve a unique response to the poverty crisis. We identify and disseminate models of good business practice. Technical expertise is also provided where and when it’s needed. Successful models from elsewhere will be shared to encourage greater action and efficacy.
